The Canadian Chamber of Commerce Mali – Association and its partners, are launching the Entrepreneurship Training and Support Program in the area of supply of goods and services to mines. The programme aims to build the capacity of companies to provide high-quality goods and services to mines. This program is intended for entrepreneurs, goods and services providers who wish to provide mines locally successfully, to network with Canada's mining goods and services providers.

Participants will be able to familiarize themselves for six months of accompaniment from 13 January 2023 with:

  • Standards and specifications for providing quality goods and services required by mines;
  • Methods of supply and goods and services required by mines;
  • Supply chains and management of mining goods and services
  • National regulations
  • Business management, promotion and marketing.
    The training sessions will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays for two hours, for a total of four hours of training per week.

This training is also aimed at young students in the mining sector and those who wish to undertake the provision of local mining goods and services. The virtual forum and B2Bs, which will be organized between local and Canadian contractors, suppliers of goods and services, will allow entrepreneurs and first entrepreneurs to discover new markets and suppliers of local mining goods and services. The training and support program on entrepreneurship in the provision of goods and services to mines of the Chamber of Commerce Canada Mali Association will begin on January 13, 2023.
