On October 28, 2020, in Toronto, Canada, the Canada-Africa Chamber of Commerce and the Mali-Canada Chamber of Commerce signed a memorandum of understanding for greater cooperation at the Africa Accelerating 2020 conference.

The agreement was signed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Mali, His Excellency Fatima Braoulé MEITÉ and the President of the Canada-Africa Chamber of Commerce, Sebastian Spio-Garbrah.

The agreement will see both organizations working together to deliver specific trade and investment programs between Canada and Mali.
