Mr Naoufel Daghfus | Ph.D.

The black community is a major asset for the economy. However, it faces many challenges. Does the Quebec entrepreneurial ecosystem offer them real inclusion?
Professor Naoufel Daghfus,teaching at university, offers training seminars in Canada and abroad. He has written numerous articles in marketing and international management published in Canadian, American, French and other journals. He is also the author of several academic volumes in marketing, consumer behaviour and data analysis. In addition to his interests in entrepreneurial, international, digital marketing and innovation management, he has been actively involved in academic research and advisory activities with public and private bodies related to entrepreneurship in recent years.

Madame Jaël Élysée
African Entrepreneurs

Ms Jaël Elysée has been working in the field of entrepreneurship for more than 20 years. She holds a bachelor's degree in HEC management and has for several years assumed the coordination of the Support for Self-Employment (STA), a measure funded by Emploi-Québec.
Since 2019, she has represented Filaction as a member of the advisory committee of Entreprendre Here. Currently, Ms. Elysée is a member of the Filaction team (a Development Fund created at the initiative of Fondaction CSN) as a portfolio manager and also coordinates the Fonds Afro-entrepreneurs, an investment fund intended exclusively for business people from Black communities in Quebec who wish to obtain financing for the growth of their business.
As part of its functions, it coordinates the operational management of the activities of this Fund, analyses applications for funding, develops and maintains relations with institutions and organizations engaged in the development of entrepreneurship of cultural communities in Quebec.
THEME: Initiatives in Youth Entrepreneurial Creativity in Francophonie and the fight against climate change by LOJIQ The International Youth Offices of Quebec

Mrs Caroline Bénard

Caroline Bénard is a project manager in the Entrepreneurship team at Les Offices jeunesses internationales de Québec (LOJIQ) and head of the Youth Initiative to Combat Climate Change. The objective of this initiative is to strengthen the capacities of young people in entrepreneurship and the green economy to enable climate change mitigation and adaptation and to contribute to education and awareness among young people of climate issues.
It is intended for young people in Quebec and for people in targeted countries, primarily North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean. She co-coordinated the song of the agricultural sector in order to make the services of LOJIO more accessible to this clientele. Caroline Bénard is eqally a member of the Board of Directors and the Government Committee of the Youth Environment (ENJEU), which is an environmental education organization that aims to make Quebecers aware of environmental issues and to equip them through its educational projects and to encourage them to act in their environment.
You are between 18 and 35 years old, you are young Malian, French-speaking or resident in Quebec, current or emerging entrepreneurs, professionals who accompany young people in accompanying structures (e.g. incubator, accelerator) or institutions that connect with young people in Mali, this webinar on initiatives in youth entrepreneurial creativity in Francophonie and the fight against climate change is for you.
The Chamber of Commerce Canada Mali Association in partnership with Les Offices jeunesses internationales du Québec (LOJIQ), will present the offer in support and financial support of LOJIQ for the realization of entrepreneurial projects, involving mobility on one of the territories of the member states and governments of the International Organization of la Francophonie (OIF).
The webinar will be moderated by: Caroline Bénard, Project Manager at Entrepreneurship and Head of the Youth Climate Change Initiative at LOJIQ| The International Youth Offices of Quebec.
- The Youth Climate Change Initiative is aimed at young adults in Quebec and in French-speaking countries most vulnerable to climate change. LOJIQ provides support and financial support for projects related to climate issues involving mobility in Quebec or internationally. The countries covered by the initiative are primarily French-speaking countries in sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa and the Caribbean.
- The webinar is intended for young Malians from the Francophonie or resident in Quebec between 18 and 35 years of age, having a business project or being involved in the fight against climate change, professionals who accompany young people in accompanying structures (e.g. incubator, accelerator) as well as institutions that link with these young people in Mali.
