CALL FOR CANDIDATURES FOR START UPS IN THE ODYSE-TAAMA PROGRAMME
1. Background to the call for applications
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce Mali – Association is pleased to launch its programme to incubate start-ups and support growing businesses, ODYSSEE-TAAMA.This program aims to support the socio-economic and professional integration of the Malian diaspora through entrepreneurship and innovation in Canada. 2. Programme objectives « ODYSSEE-TAAMA »
The overall objective of ODYSSEE-TAAMA is to improve the employment and income situation, particularly for young Malian women and young people in the diaspora living in Canada.
Thus, in the context of the recruitment oferapromotion of its ODYSSEE-TAAMA Incubation program, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Mali–Association (CCCM–A) is launching this call for applications to select startups to integrate the program.
3. The support provided by the programme:
Successful applicants will receive pre-incubation accompaniment for six (06) months for:
- Formalization of their business ideas;
- Establishment of their business models (economic model);
- Prototype development;
- Market research (with key training);
- Support for the development of business plans (with key training);
- The search for funding
- Formal establishment of their enterprises.
Particular emphasis should be placed on innovation, the environment and gender.
4. Eligibility criteria for the program:
- Have an innovative project;
- Have a project with high socio-economic impact;
- Be a team of at least 3 members.
