Biography of adama KONE
KONE is an engineer of applied sciences, specializing in geology, graduated from the Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs du Mali (ENI), where he was an individual teacher for exploration and mining for 22 years.
He is certified by the International School of Business in Africa (University of Cape Town, South Africa) for management and was a member of the Australian Institute of Mines and Metallurgy (AusIMM) from 2008 to 2019.
Mr. KONE worked from 1988 to 2017 with various research and mining companies, mainly the DNGM, BHP-Minerals, AngloGold Ashanti and Randgold Resources in Mali (Kayes, Kénieba, Sadiola, Yanfolila, Syama, Morila), Burkina Faso (Essakane) and Côte d'Ivoire (Tongon). During this period, he was successively geologist of exploration, geologist of content control, geologist, director of mineral resources and general mine manager before his retirement in Mali.
Mr. KONE is certified by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers du Québec (AMF) for Personal Insurance and is currently a financial security advisor. He is a member of several associations.
