Biography of Lassana MAGUIRAGA

Professor at the Department of Management and Technology at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) from 1981 to 2016, Dr. MAGUIRAGA led several training programs at the École des sciences de la gestion at UQAM (ESG UQAM), including the Service Administration Module and initiated several training programs in this module. In addition, he has been Director of Special Partnership Programs and Advisor on the Development of the Training Partnership at the UQAM GSS. He was an instigator in the development of MBA-UQAM in Africa for about 20 years, specifically with Mali and Cameroon.
Professor MAGUIRAGA has also published numerous scientific articles in the field of mathematical modelling and simulation. He directed several master's papers, and assumed responsibilities in academic evaluations: evaluation of articles for the Université de Moncton Journal; external evaluator under the programme « Establishment of new researchers » of the Training and Research Assistance Fund (FCAR), manuscript evaluation for the Canadian Bankers Institute, evaluation of journal articles « Graduates » of the Insurance Institute of Canada ».

He was a member of the organizing committee of the Third International Conference on Multi-Objective and Goaled Mathematical Programming (PMOMB). Also Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Symposium on the Challenges of Democracy in Africa.
Professor MAGUIRAGA is affiliated with several professional associations. His merits earned him various scholarships and distinctions. Dr. MAGUIRAGA, retired professor, is Associate Professor at UQAM and member of the Cabinet SG CONSULTING GROUP as Senior Partner.
