Biography of Mr. Gideon Lambiv Dzemua
Dr. Gideon Lambiv Dzemua is a certified professional geoscientist with over 22 years of experience in mining exploration and development. His experience ranges from the creation of projects to exploration, mine development and extraction of industrial minerals and basic and precious metals. Gideon holds a PhD in Economic Geology from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, a Master's degree in Natural Resource Analysis from the University of Ghent, Belgium, and a Bachelor's degree in Geology and Environmental Sciences from the University of Buea, Cameroon. Dr. Lambiv Dzemua was a project/senior/principal geoscientist and project and program manager for various projects in Africa, Australasia and South and North America. As a geologist and project manager for Geovic Mining Ltd's Nkamouna project in Cameroon and West Africa Program Manager for the Victoria-based Craft Gold Council in Canada, Gideon was responsible for the research and management of contractors for a range of services and supplies. This role gave him the opportunity to work with the gold mining and processing industry in various West African countries, including Burkina Faso, Mali, Guinea Conakry, Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire. Over the past five years, Gideon has been the lead geologist responsible for industrial and critical mineral resources within the Commission.
