Biography of Mr ZONGO Z. Zéphirin

ZONGO Zoéwendtaalé Zéphirin holds a Diploma in Advanced Studies in Economics, an option applied Macro-economy, obtained in 2012 at Ouaga University 2 (now Thomas Sankara University). At the professional level, he has a career path ranging from the private sector to the public administration. Indeed, from 2013 to 2017, he worked respectively in the studies offices Market Ingenierie Office and Lemin Groupe Development. He was successively Executive Director and Research Officer. Within these firms, the main tasks assigned to Mr ZONGO were the preparation of technical and financial offers and participation in study missions as support staff. Since 2017, he has been at the service of the Public Administration, notably within the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Careers as Economist, Advisor in Studies and Analysis. After four years of service within the Directorate General in charge of quarries substances, it has been in service since May 2021 at the Directorate General in charge of local content in the mining sector in Burkina Faso. In particular, since 06 October 2021, Mr ZONGO has held the position of Director of Mining Economics in the Directorate-General for the Promotion and Mining Economy (DGMEM). Thus, it has the opportunity to be at the heart of actions to implement local content in Burkina Faso. In fact, within the DGMEM, the Directorate for Economic Affairs
