Mission of the expert committee

The task of this committee will be to:

1. Promote research, innovation, development and technology transfer in the renewable energy sector in Mali;
2. Strengthen human resources capacity in the renewable energy sector in Mali through training;
3. Provide technical assistance to Mali and renewable energy actors;
4. Seeking value-added on Mali's renewable energy resources;
5. Assist in the development, exploitation and use of new and renewable energy sources in Mali;
6. Provide assistance on feasibility studies on energy projects and programmes and their impact on the environment in Mali;
7. Mobilize the necessary financial resources to provide Mali with the necessary assistance for the development of the renewable energy sector;
8. Undertake any other activities that may be necessary to achieve the above objectives.
